"Our Three Words" Project
What makes life richer? What special event or every day event inspires your facility and residents? What makes your staff and residents extraordinary? How is your community, or even a particular resident, unique? Now, how can you convey that message in just three words?
Using the creativity of residents, staff and families, NHCA/NALA would like members to share stories, thoughts, feelings, joys and accomplishments by submitting three words via digital video or photographs. The images will be compiled by NHCA/NALA to present an "Our Three Words" video at the 2012 Spring Convention in Kearney.
By January 31st, e-mail a five- to 15-second video clip or series of digital photographs to KateW@nehca.org. The video will be set to music so audio is not required but may be accepted. A release form must accompany the video/photos and account for each person viewable in the submission (residents, staff, families, etc). Please e-mail the completed release form to KateW@nehca.org.
View examples by searching the Web using "Your Three Words". YouTube offers many examples, including the clips below, to help you brainstorm ideas.

Still digital photographs are also accepted. A series of three in which each picture depicts a word is preferred.
Please note that, depending on the number of submissions and their clarity, not all submissions may be selected for use in the final piece.
Three words can be powerful, and NHCA/NALA wants to help you share your message.
