A Profile of the Nebraska Health Care Association The Nebraska Health Care Association (NHCA) is a private, nonprofit trade association that represents governmental, non-profit, and for-profit long term care facilities in the state of Nebraska. NHCA represents long term care providers in the Nebraska Legislature, in state government, with business leaders, and among the general public. The Association also serves as a force for change within the long term care field by providing information, education, and administrative tools that enhance quality at every level. NHCA's members believe that the individuals they serve are entitled to the most professional and compassionate services of the highest quality. NHCA is committed to developing necessary and reasonable public policy that balances economic and regulatory principles to support the provision of quality care and an individual's quality of life.
