The Nebraska Health Care Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization that provides scholarships for Nebraskans seeking education in long term care. Gifts and support to the Foundation are used for this purpose and invited in the form of:

Cash

Whether your gift is in honor or in memory of a friend or loved one or to meet your personal charitable wishes, cash gifts contributed each year help the Foundation grow and expand its support of quality long term care. Independent Local Fundraisers

Long term care facilities can organize fundraising events that involve residents, staff and the general public. Suggested activities include suppers, chili cook-offs, craft fairs, bake sales and car washes.

Life Insurance

If you have been paying premiums on life insurance or have a paid-up policy but no longer need the protection, you may wish to donate the policy to the Foundation. As either the owner or beneficiary of the policy, you will receive an immediate tax deduction usually in the amount equal to the cash surrender value.
