NEBRASKA HEALTH CARE FOUNDATION Online bids are are now closed. The highest of the online bids will be the beginning bid for the on-site auction at the 2011 NHCA/NALA Annual Convention at The Corhusker Marriott in Lincoln on Tuesday, Sept. 13. CLICK HERE to view the wide variety of fun, Nebraska-themed items and packages available for auction and to see how the online bids turned out. Highest bidders will be determined at 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 14. All items and packages will need to be paid for and picked up by the highest bidder by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 14. Funds raised through the silent auction help to ensure there are an adequate number of trained professionals to care for residents of long term care facilities. Through medication aide, nursing, dietary, nursing home administrator, and assisted living administrator scholarships, the Nebraska Health Care Foundation and its supporters are preparing for the future of long term care in Nebraska. |
