The Nebraska Health Care Association is a nonprofit trade association representing long term health care facilities in Nebraska. Its affiliate, the Nebraska Assisted Living Association (NALA), represents assisted living facilities. The activities of the Licensed Practical Nurse Association of Nebraska (LPNAN) are managed by NHCA staff. The Nebraska Health Care Foundation (NHCF) is a non-profit charitable organization serving the needs of Nebraska's nursing home residents by providing scholarship and educational opportunities for long-term care personnel.

The Long Term Care Workforce Institute (LTCWIN) and Nebraska Health Care Learning Center (NHC-LC) provide essential educational opportunities throughout the state to employers and employees in long term care fields.

The Nebraska Health Care Association is an affiliate of the American Health Care Association (AHCA). AHCA is the largest organization of long term care facilities in the world. Each facility member of NHCA and/or NALA is also a member of AHCA.
