Step 1 of 3

    • ABOUT
Do you know a nurse colleague who has had a great year? Is there a nurse on your floor, in your facility, or in your region who really stands out? The LPN of the Year Award is your chance to recognize an exceptional LPN!

Nominees must be a member of LPNAN and currently practice as an LPN.

Award nominees must meet the following criteria:
      • Active community volunteer
      • Positive interpersonal relationships with coworkers
      • Positive interpersonal relationships with patients and their families
      • Projects qualities consistent with the ideals of licensed practical nursing
      • No disciplinary action against license currently or in the past

When completing the questions in the final section of this form, please refer to the person as “the nominee," and do not identify their employer’s name or location. This will assist greatly in the judging process.

The award winner will be selected by a committee of impartial persons who are not members of LPNAN, and who are not acquainted with any of the nominees.

If the winner’s circumstances permit, he/she will be invited to attend the LPNAN Awards Ceremony on April 29, 2020, in Kearney. The winner will be presented with a recognition plaque and showcased in the LPNAN Leader e-newsletter.

The nomination is due by March 20, 2020. Please contact Marketing at Awards@nehca.org or 402-435-3551 with questions.
