The COVID-19 pandemic has brought new issues for liability lawsuits to skilled nursing facilities and assisted living communities. This webinar discusses the risk factors specific administration of legal action against skilled nursing facilities and assisted living communities. Participants will gain an understanding of the legal processes related to lawsuits with families, residents, and staff. Participants will learn strategies of how to reduce the risk of legal action as well as what to expect if legal action does occur. This webinar will also discuss how to respond to examples of legal action that may occur with families, residents, and staff.
