February 4 @ 1:30 pm - 2:45 pm

February 4, 2020

1:30 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. CST

This session of the PDPM Master Class Series will focus on best practices for data collection from pre-admission screening through day eight of the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) stay. This webinar will review effective systems and suggested timeframes for resident assessment through an interdisciplinary approach to ensure accurate and timely information is gathered to appropriately report care and services provided on the initial Medicare assessment. Emphasis will be on critical data elements used in the calculation of the PDPM per diem. The RAI MDS Correction Policy will also be reviewed to ensure the appropriate correction of errors should they be identified.

  1. Describe an effective process for pre-admission screening including early identification of services to be received and comorbid conditions to be treated or managed.
