Effective July 1, 2019, Livanta replaced KEPRO as Nebraska’s Medicare Beneficiary and Family-Centered Care Quality Improvement Organization (BFCC-QIO). For participants in the Medicare Program, Livanta is hosting a series of provider-focused webinars. This installment of the provider education series will be a webinar centered on an introduction to the BFCC-QIO Program and to Livanta. The training will focus on providing an overview of the changes to the BFCC-QIO Program and best practices for complying with Medicare guidelines and timeliness requirements.
The goal of the webinar is to provide more information about Livanta, the QIO program, the appeals and quality of care complaint process, and information resources available to the Nebraska Health Care Association members. Members will have the opportunity to better understand the review process and ask questions. Bryan Fischer, the Communications Lead from Livanta will be presenting important information about Medicare required patient notifications, Memoranda of Understanding (MOAs) and provider Best Practices.
