2019 and 2020 have been unprecedented years for Nebraska. COVID-19, historic flooding, and an unparalleled number of long-term care facility closings have taken a toll on our state.
The Nebraska Health Care Foundation and Nebraska Health Care Association are working alongside health care providers in the fight against COVID-19. Since March, NHCF and NHCA have partnered with numerous agencies and businesses to support caregivers, residents, and clients in Nebraska nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and hospices to coordinate distribution of critical supplies, aid in solutions, and provide resources and timely education.
Help keep those living and working in Nebraska’s assisted living and nursing facilities safe.

The Nebraska Health Care Foundation was established as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization by the Nebraska Health Care Association in 1987 to help ensure there are an adequate number of trained professionals to care for residents of the state’s nursing homes and assisted living facilities. NHCF also distributes annual scholarships to individuals interested in seeking long-term care education, such as a nursing home administrator, assisted living administrator, registered nurse, licensed practical nurse, activity director, social service designee, or dietary student.
#GivingTuesday, held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, is a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities, and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide.
