Prairie Village Retirement Center
The Sales Director is responsible for supporting the Administrator for Prairie Village Retirement Center. The marketing will utilize software for lead management, provide tours, process and distribute admission paperwork, and maintain model rooms. This position will maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, professional individuals and organizations in the local area. This includes representing the community in a manner that enhances the sales efforts when dealing with potential residents, families and other professionals.
Preferably the ideal candidate would have at least 2 years of sales experience and proven record of achieving sales results. Candidate must be articulate in communicating Prairie Village Retirement Center services and amenities to prospects. As well as proficiency with writing, data entry, and Microsoft programs. Additional requirements include the ability to multi task and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
Assists with conducting tours and inputs all contact information into marketing data entry system
Ensures timely follow-up on all leads and documentation into database
Reviews and updates the Administrator in a timely manner with sales activities
Collect, coordinate, process and distribute all pre-admission paperwork in a timely manner to key department managers
Walks through the community often and advises senior management on issues that need attention.
Develops a thorough understanding of competing facilities and care alternatives in the marketplace
Assists Administrator with maintaining and updating professional organizations in the database
Utilizes lead tracking software to carry out all sales activities necessary to achieve marketing plan goals and objectives.
Coordinates and schedules the contract signing.
Assesses apartments for move-in readiness and coordinates with housekeeping, maintenance, nursing, and administration on any related issues
Demonstrates a keen ability to understand, embrace value of, and speak to the features and benefits of our services
Works with Administrator and Activities to organize, plan and set up quarterly marketing events in the community. Creates sign in sheets and updates data to database
Exhibits a sense of urgency related to all sales-driven functions and tasks
Coordinate all materials for marketing pre-admission packets to ensure timely completion.
Any other duties as assigned by the Administrator
College degree preferred
Preferred two years’ experience in sales; preferably in the healthcare industry
Must be proficient in All Microsoft applications (such as Word, Excel, and Outlook) and lead tracking software
Strong organization skills and a proven ability to multi-task and manage time in order to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Highly articulate with outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively to large groups or individuals in both professional and social settings, including a well-developed ability to tailor communication style to each audience
Able to maintain budgeted occupancy and grow census through lead follow-up, and tours
Experience in Healthcare or related field preferred
Reports directly to the Administrator
