The Ambassador Health Corporate Office is seeking an Executive Nurse to serve and assist our fast-paced skilled nursing campuses. A licensed RN who participates in the development and implementation of the Company’s philosophies. This individual provides operational assistance to the Director of Clinical Services at each community.
Maintain positive relations with residents, families and physicians.
Overall support of the nursing departments for multiple facilities. Responsible for supporting the Director of Clinical Services and Administrators.
Provide input on, and support for, the implementation of strong clinical systems that result in the highest quality of care.
Supports the development and implementation of quality assurance measurements and audits, and assists in improving medical management processes throughout the Communities and market by coordinating and engaging in activities to proactively promote implementation of evidence based best practices.
Supports the Director of Clinical Services for the provision of quality and appropriate resident / patient care that meets or exceeds company and regulatory standards
Evaluates current and potential residents and patients to determine and maintain living center’s ability to provide appropriate level of care
Monitors, performs, and manages quality assurance processes including those supporting compliance to regulatory and/or accreditation standards
Function as a clinical resource to the nursing administration team at each facility
Provide training to staff nurses to promote performance improvement
Provide support during the survey process including pre-survey preparation and developing performance improvement plans post survey if necessary
Collects, reviews and analyzes clinical outcome data and determines trends. Brings identified concerns to the Senior Team and Administrators for development of appropriate plans of action at the facility
May perform other duties as assigned.
80% travel possible (locations are typically within 1-2 hours of Omaha, NE; therefore, chosen candidate can be home most evenings)
A registered nurse licensed to practice as required by State Regulations.
Multi-site experience preferred.
5 years of leadership preferred.
Experience in direct patient care and assessments/observation of clinical conditions.
CPR certified and knowledge of basic first aid.
Must complete all state required training to maintain licensure or certification.
Able to work flexible work hours due to demands of position.
Must pass background check and drug screen
