What is Home Health?

Home health care is skilled medical care provided in a patient’s home. Home    health care helps patients live safely at home who are recovering from an injury or illness, with medical conditions like acute or chronic serious illnesses, post-surgical events, terminal illnesses and short-term health needs. Home health care agencies require a state license to operate. Medicare, Medicaid and many insurance agencies cover home health care services.
