Job Description

Nebraska Health Care Learning Center, a private, post-secondary career school, seeks enthusiastic and hard-working registered nurses to perform State testing for nursing assistant and medication aide students. Hours are flexible. Testing sites are available at multiple sites across Nebraska and a member of the Nebraska Health Care Association can become an approved testing site through the Nebraska Health Care Learning Center. Candidates should have a sound understanding of the role of the nursing assistant and medication aide in health care. The position involves state testing nursing assistant and/or medication aide students for written and clinical state tests, covering scope of practice, skills competency, clinical experience, and codes of conduct within their positions in health care facilities. Possibility of teaching nursing assistant and/or medication aide classes as well. State testers for nursing assistant and medication aide students, who must be an RN, will work closely with NHCLC’s Director of Professional Development. 1-2 years of experience in long-term care is required. This is a PRN, independent contractor position. NHCLC is an affiliate of Nebraska Health Care Association.
