The contents of the entire manual are required training to function as a dining assistant in a nursing facility. Each chapter includes a quick review worksheet for the student to complete. Skills checklists and competency assessments are included with the instructor materials.
The instructor’s manual CD includes the PowerPoint® presentation for each chapter as well as an electronic version of the skills checklists and competency assessments. The skills checklists and competency assessments are the only portions of the manual or CD that may be reproduced without express permission from NHCA.
